At Loon Lake Labradora, we are dedicated to breeding healthy and happy puppies. Our breeding program focuses on genetic health, temperament, and conformation to the breed standard. All of our puppies are raised in our home with love and care. They are raised by the rule of 7’s. By the time they’re 7 weeks old they will have experienced 7 different locations, 7 different toys, 7 different surfaces, 7 different people, 7 different eating dishes and 7 different challenges!
We also start our puppies on ens (early neurological stimulatio) at 3 days old. These gentle stressors help them to have stronger heartbeats, better cardio vascular health, better stress responses, better adrenal health, and greater resistance to disease! We also do Early scent introduction (ESI). Labs love to explore with their nose! This just gets them started for those of you looking to purchase a working dog. Last but not least, we also deworm and start your pups vaccinations at 7- 8 weeks old. We strive to give our puppies the healthiest and happiest start!
We are committed to breeding only healthy dogs. Our breeding dogs undergo genetic testing to ensure they are free of any hereditary diseases. We also have their hips and elbows tested through OFA. We carefully select breeding pairs to produce puppies that will be healthy and have desirable traits along with an amazing temperament.
We value our puppies and their adoptive families and we are always here to help. We provide ongoing support and guidance to our puppy owners to ensure a smooth transition for both the puppy and the family. We are always available to answer any questions or concerns For the lifetime of your pet.
Our pups are sold on a limited AKC registration. That means that you will not receive breeding rights. We recommend waiting to have your pet spayed or neutered until they are between the ages of 18 months and 2 years old. As always you should discuss this with your veterinarian and decide what’s best for your pet.
Labradors come in 3 colors. Black, chocolate, and yellow. Yellows can vary from light cream to fox red.
