Set your puppy up for success!
We ask that you schedule your pups first appointment before you pick your pup up! Your pup should be seen by your vet in the first 48 hrs after pick up! Your puppy needs frequent shots and check ups the first few months. Your pup will have been wormed and shots started when you pick them up at 8 weeks of age.
please ask your vet about microchipping your pup. This makes it so much easier to find you if your pup runs off!
All of our dogs are AKC registered. You will need to register your pup in your name. You can do this online and it’s super easy! You’ll need to do this in the first 11 months or AKC will charge you a late fee. This step is very important as this is how AKC tracks the breed. Please register your pup as soon as you can.
This step is very important. Registering your pup doesn’t just benefit you, it also helps the American Kennel Club keep track of all dog breeds.
Potty training starts the minute you pick your new pup up and consistency is key! Take your new pup out every two hours and within 10-15 minutes after each meal. This is one of the reasons a crate is so very important. Puppies do not want to mess where they sleep! We start working on potty training your puppy at just 3 weeks old. We do this in an effort to make your experience easier!
An obedience class is great for new puppies. Its a great place to learn basic commands and socialize your pup!
I love to talk about dogs! Any questions?!
